When I plan trips, which I do a lot, one of the biggest challenges is where to stay. The last thing I want after a long day of hiking or even driving, is to come back to a place where I’m not comfortable. For me comfort is a lot more than a nice pillow and bottled water. When I’m on a trip, 90% of the time I still have to respond to emails, edit or even upload photos. Not to mention, I really feel inspired by a well decorated space. I won’t even look at an airbnb that is poorly decorated.
The Amigo is first class for all of those things in my opinion. I was stoked to all get out when my new friend Lucy told me about this place. I had been searching high and low for something like this for my trip to Colorado. Salida is a great little southwestern town with plenty of good food options and cute little shops. There is also plenty to do out in the good ole’ Mother Nature so if you like going outside, you’re in business.
