I’m a mentor/photographer by day, BBC watcher by night. I live along the Gulf Coast, have 2 amazing dogs named Arya and Misty, and I like tacos. (like every other human on planet earth)
Earlier in my career, I was able to travel to India to photograph an adoption story. It was this trip that opened my eyes and my heart. I had no idea that over the next 6 years I would find myself in Bali, Beijing, Tulum, Edinburgh and so many other places that have left a footprint on my heart.
I’ve traveled to tell love stories, I’ve traveled to document life stories, and all of these times it was the land and it’s people that caught my focus the most. My attention always seemed to gravitate toward architecture and the locals on their daily commutes. I could sit in a coffee shop and stare out the window all day long. For a moment, I felt like I lived there and in every one of these places, I honestly could have. My husband says that I possess a gypsy soul. Maybe he is right.
As a vagabond, I’ve never needed to find a perfect home, not yet. We live somewhere convenient for our life right now, which makes traveling very necessary for my mental and physical health. I’ll need warm beaches in February and cool mountain mornings in October. I’ll need a snowy London Christmas one year and a country side Christmas in East Tennessee another year. For all these reasons and more, my photography career has been centered around travel.
My focus is on interiors for unique accommodations like boutique hotels and Airbnbs. I specialize in helping these places find their brand through social media and their websites. So if you can trust me, let’s make some magic together!
